Kids On Broadway!
The trip is going to be April 4-8 (5 days over Alpine School District's Spring Break). The trip is designed and geared for families with children and youth who are interested in theatre and would love to go to Broadway. Children and youth ages 9-16 will probably have the BEST experience, although people of all ages will absolutely LOVE it! Here is what it includes! Because airfare is not included in the price, we are excited to welcome anyone from anywhere that would like to join us! Inclusions: *5 days and 4 nights in a 4-Star Times Square Hotel *Tickets to 5 Broadway Shows Including- Aladdin, Spongebob Squarepants the Musical, Disney's Frozen, Anastasia and Once On This Island (Shows are VERY subject to change. We will also be making a play to try and get group tickets to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child if previews have started then). *2 Workshops with actors currently on Broadway! *Tickets to the New York Children's Museum of the Arts *Backstage Tour at either The Lion King/Aladdin/Frozen or Wicked *Buffet Lunch Cruise on a yacht on the Hudson River that will go up to and around the Statue of Liberty *Tickets to the Central Park Zoo *New York City after-show Cheesecake Experience *In-Room New York Pizza Party *Subway Tickets *Private car/shuttle transfers to and from the airport Airfare and most meals are not included. If you were to plan this trip on your own for a family of 4, you would be looking at a cost thousands more than what we are offering this for. Don't even think about just one or two people! Another cool perk about this trip is that if you are LDS, I am also LDS and know how to navigate the city and Broadway in a way that you would be comfortable in sending your children with me. You can trust me. For those who do not know who I am, I have vast experience taking groups on trips, specifically in New York City. I work as a theatre teacher with kids ages 8-18 and know my stuff. There will be a very big educational portion to this trip. In free time, students will be able to take a walking tour with me of Broadway Theaters, learn about each theater we are seeing a show in, have a discussion about each show and learn so much more. Children 10 and under must be accompanied on the trip by a paying parent, grandparent, uncle etc. Youth 11 and up are welcome to join unaccompanied. The cost for this trip is ONLY $1400 and includes EVERYTHING above! Airfare can be found likely in the $250-$400 range round-trip (free if you use your miles!) and with food and airfare and everything, you can certainly do this trip for UNDER $2,000! Which is AMAZING! If you were to do this trip on your own, it would cost you anywhere from $2500 per person for 4 people to $5000 a person for one! |
